Da testimonianza diretta si rileva quindi l'alta affluenza: 40 minuti di attesa in una città che ha circa 125ooo abitanti (si trova a metà strada fra Chicago e Milwaukee). Potete quindi immaginare che nelle grandi metropoli i tempi di attesa potrebbero essere più lunghi e ritardare lo spoglio delle schede. Va però fatto notare che tali code vengono rilevate ora che è primo mattino negli USA, il che è naturale parlando di votazioni durante un giorno lavorativo.
